Abstract
An array-fed parabolic-cylindrical reflector antenna equipped with a phase shifter in every element can rapidly switch between different elevation beam shapes and offer some multifunction possibilities with low or moderate cost. The synthesis examples indicate, that usable vertical coverage diagrams can be synthesised using only the phase synthesis with fixed element excitation amplitudes
