Abstract
The authors introduce an efficient technique to detect the evoked potential, EP, transients. A hybrid algorithm using Daubechies (1990, 1994) as the father and Coiflet as the mother wavelet is employed on both a single and four-averaged EP sweeps. A 60% reduction in the number of sweeps with a high quality performance has been achieved when compared to traditional techniques
