Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to study the quality of service (QoS) aspects in the B-ISDN protocol reference model which is composed of a user plane, a control plane and a management plane. First, the QoS aspects in a general network are introduced. Secondly, the QoS aspects related to B-ISDN signaling are described. Finally, the QoS aspects related to management are described
