  • Abstract
    The state-of-charge (SOC) of primary Li/SO2 cells can be determined using Coulomb counting combined with adjustment of capacity based on cell temperature and discharge state. The authors have previously reported on a novel fuzzy logic methodology for determining the SOC of Li/SO2 cells. In this paper, they report on a preliminary SOC meter based on the fuzzy logic methodology implemented using a Motorola 68HC11 microcontroller
