Abstract :
This paper deals with indirect adaptive control techniques applied to the synthesis of the speed loop of motion control systems with induction motors. An identifier is firstly designed, according to model reference adaptive control system schemes, to obtain identification of quantities characterizing the motion equation, namely parameters and disturbances. Then, a feedback control structure is designed according to a model following control scheme, whose parameters are computed online so that the identified system tracks an implicit reference model. Several tests carried out by simulation experiments confirm the validity of the approach followed
