Abstract :
An implantable pacing system for chronic measurements of the ventricular evoked response (VER) and the monophasic action potential (MAP) including fractally coated leads and a monitoring pacemaker with high resolution online telemetry is presented. Neurohumoral influences on the heart were detected by monitoring the VER and the MAP for varying heart rate and load conditions
