Abstract :
A circularly polarized self diplexing antenna using two patch antennas for a satellite mode handset system has been presented. We measured input characteristics and radiation patterns using a prototype model. It is confirmed for these upper and lower antennas radiate circular polarization from the view point of return loss characteristics and radiation pattern, and that isolation suppression is more than 13 dB. The self-diplexing stacked patch antenna presented in this paper has enough performance for a satellite mode handset system.
