Title :
Reducing product development cycle time by increasing information velocity
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
Summary form only as given. This paper proposes and outlines a potential method for measuring information flow (or velocity) in new product development processes. The proposed methodology identifies bottlenecks, which constrain information flow and extend cycle time. By identifying and understanding these constraints, managers can improve the development process
