Abstract :
Nowadays, trust models are mostly PKI based. The paper first introduces two existing PKI trust models: X.509 & SDSI/SPKI, putting special emphasis on their characteristics. On this basis, the paper presents a new trust model, which can be looked on as an upgraded trust model of the X.509, by combining the advantages of the two trust models reasonably. The paper mainly discusses the model´s certificate policy and certificate management policy.
