Abstract :
The paper presents a fault tolerant development system framework based on the replication technique. The system maintains several replicated objects. When the primary object fails, the backup object will take over the primary object´s work to provide continuous service. Using an object oriented design (OOD) technique, the development framework can enhance software reusability. The JAVA RMI technique is also introduced; it can hide communication details and reduce the complication of communication programming. To conclude, we demonstrate our system´s superiority through a brief comparison with other related works
