Abstract :
On public buildings there are many areas which could be used as solar facades. The most usual direction of PV-plants especially solar facades, is “south”. But in those months, when there is a low solar radiation, the PV-yield of the solar facades varies with latitude and season. Because the tilt angle is 90 degrees, the peak of the curve of the insolation is not only determined by the southern direction. The paper describes the method to optimize the PV-yield of solar facades by using the solar radiation on elements from different directions
