Abstract :
Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) information model has been standardized for configuration, fault, and performance management in the ITU-T M.3100 based on the OSI Systems Management and G.774 series. This TMN-based approach makes it possible to pursue the integrated management technology which makes the network manager easily recognize the relations between lower speed transport network and higher speed transport network. The super-high speed transport network consists of various optical transmission equipment and connects down to the various tributary networks. In this paper, a new method for managing effectively the relation of this tributary layered transport networks is proposed. The purpose of it is to propose the Escalating Management Method for the effective relational management based on the common management information model on SDH series
