Abstract :
Providing an adequate number of radio channels is an important task of cellular network capacity planning and service provisioning. This task involves analyses of historic correlations between traffic and capacity, projecting future traffic demand, and developing optimum plans for providing radio channels to support that demand. It is a domain in which analytical models are intermixed with experienced-based decision making. The task becomes even more complicated when digital networks are planned due to insufficient practical experience
