Abstract
This paper studies scattering characteristics of an optically controlled interdigital gap fabricated on the semiconductor microstrip line, and proposes the potential application of this gap to the microwave phase shifter with small variation in amplitude. Some experiments have been carried out to verify the theoretical predictions
