Abstract :
The inductor for a capacitor cell of the large capacitive energy storage is presented. Energy stored in the inductor is 64 kJ, maximum voltage between terminals is 18 kV, maximal current is 60 kA. Three modifications of the inductor rated for 25 ¿H, 40 ¿H and 80 ¿H have been developed. The paper presents the results of the experimental studies of the inductor, including testing for the ultimate current load capacity, testing of the high-voltage insulation, testing of the cooling regime, as well as the calculations of the stressed-strained state and strength of the inductor. The features of the inductor manufacturing technology are described. The inductor prototypes have passed the life time tests.
