Abstract
The transmission performance of a radio-over-fiber (RoF) based microcellular network for broadband wireless access has been investigated taking into account various impairments in both the wireless interface and the subcarrier multiplexed optical transmission link. It has been shown that the RoF system could be useful for delivering broadband signals for both N-GMSK and CDMA based systems.
