  • Abstract
A multi-microphone noise reduction system based on upsamling and IIR-RLS filter has been proposed to reduce additive noise in noisy speech. However, the multi-microphone system uses several adaptive IIR-RLS filters and thus the system cannot avoid increasing computational load. In this paper, the multi-microphone noise reduction system with less computational load is proposed. Since the IIR-RLS filter is located behind the fixed beamformer of the proposed system only one IIR-RLS filter is required for an arbitrary number of microphones. Simulation results, in a noisy and reverberant environment with 0.3s reverberation time, show that the proposed system produces results that are significantly favorable than traditional multi-microphone noise reduction system with less computational complexity.
