A 2/3-inch two-million pixel CCD camera for HDTV

We have developed a high-performance 2/3-inch two-million pixel CCD camera for HDTV (high definition television). Its sensitivity is as high and it has as good an S/N ratio as existing one-inch HDTV cameras. It is also the compact, light-weight and power-efficient, with operating convenience and mobility equivalent to those of popular cameras used for CDTV (conventional television) systems. In addition, it can produce high-grade CDTV programs with the help of a built-in converter. Special effort was made to ensure that the new camera would be available at the lowest possible price through the use of components of CDTV cameras. This camera is expected to play a major role in the television of the future
