Abstract :
Dynamic impedance of monocrystalline, poly-crystalline and amorphous silicon solar cells are determined using a time domain based method. It is found that dynamic impedance of the three types of solar cells can be described by a similar close form equation. Comparison is made on loci obtained from experiment and those from a close-form equation. Illustrative examples are made on the real and imaginary parts of impedance exhibiting voltage and frequency dependence
