Abstract :
This paper gives an overview on the scientific accompanying measures of ´PV Enlargement´ and presents first test results. Beside the demonstration of these systems, an important goal of the project is to make a standardised comparison of all PV installations of the 10 involved European countries. For this purpose a series of accompanying measures are being developed: 1. STC performance tests of randomly selected PV modules are being executed by the LEEE-TISO test laboratory; 2. On-site data monitoring of 32 PV systems is done by WIP with the support of the project partners. Results of the indoor module-level measurement campaign are shown and will be compared with selected results (power output/energy production) obtained outdoors, in the field. This means that the performance of a crystalline PV module during solar noon at the defined clear sky conditions matches very well with its daily yield
