Abstract :
Shock test method is important to shock resistant study of diesel engine. A diesel power generating set with vibration isolator and retainer is subjected to shock loading under operational condition. Acceleration of diesel engine bracket is measured using ICP accelerometer. Measured signal is complex, which is composed of operation vibration, base shock response and undesirable noise. Measured signal is analyzed using wavelet analysis. Shock response is separated from it using wavelet reconstruction method and wavelet soft threshold de-noising method. Shock response is composed of low frequency vibration of isolator, middle frequency vibration caused by retainer impacting. Shock spectrum of acceleration of diesel engine bracket is calculated based on de-noised signal and Shock input environment of diesel engine is obtained.
