Abstract
A battery-fed multiple-output DC power supply system for telecommunication equipment is described. The system consists of several parallel autonomous power modules with load current sharing and `n +1´ redundancy. Each module contains two parallel double-output current-mode controlled forward converters with integrated output filter inductors. Primary attention is focused on the multiwinding inductor element. A simple and efficient design procedure is developed for the loose coupling of windings, which was found to be favourable from the viewpoint of the dynamic properties of the system
