  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the equity and efficiency of the two China health care systems urban health insurance and new rural cooperative medical on multiagent-based computational mechanism design. A summary of the recent medical reforms undertaken in China is also discussed. Results indicate that merging parts of the two branches in particular can improve equity without compromising efficiency.
