Abstract :
Distributed denial of service(DDoS) is a crucial problem of a dynamic and stochastic task environment. Most existing DDoS studies are designated for fixed infrastructure networks. In addition, conventional P2P system studies are content centric. In practice, majority of the solutions have adopted centralized defensive design and implementation strategies. In this research, a means of adaptation to a DDoS detection and control is proposed as the key entity of this study. A generic event driven model is proposed to analyze and design attack path discovery adaptive flood control algorithms without transport layer dependencies. This research also proposed a Q function based learning detection. Furthermore, a scalable DDoS detection network is advocated. An implementation of a proof of concept and a simulation testbed are deliberated.
