  • Abstract
This paper presents the optimization of current regulators by using genetic algorithms in order to provide robust control for field-oriented asynchronous machines. This method solves a mixed sensitivity problem so as to achieve performance and stability robustness. Unlike classical methods, the structure and the order of the compensator are chosen by the designer. Furthermore, structural constraints, such as to provide proper (minimum phase) and stable controllers, are taken into account
