Abstract
Fluid-filled catheter-pressure transducer systems are often used to measure pressure in the arterial system. An index is proposed to appreciate, in such systems, the distortion of input impedance at each frequency. Effects on the evaluation of input impedance and some usual derived parameters such as zero-phase frequency, distance to the effective reflection site and characteristic impedance are examined
