Abstract :
Signal flow graph analysis of an interleaved dual boost converter operating in the continuous current mode is presented in this paper. A simplified signal flow graph of the power converter system is developed, from which large and small-signal dynamic behavior of the converter is studied. Small-signal transfer functions are derived using Mason´s gain formula. A large signal model is developed and programmed in TUT-SIM. The effect of capacitor ESR on the large and small-signal responses is demonstrated. Furthermore, the large signal responses obtained with the signal flow graph method are validated with PSIM simulations
