Abstract :
The paper introduces a new algorithm of interpolation based on bipolar coordinates. According to the comparing point by point interpolation principle, the linear interpolation theories in polar coordinates and its algorithms are discussed in detail. The recurrence formula is deduced. The interpolation algorithm can be applied to the parallel mechanism based on polar coordinates, and its algorithm is so simple that it can be easily realized by program with minor error.
