Abstract :
Nature frequency is one of the most important dynamic characteristics of motorcycle structure. Detailed information has been acquired by the author using experimental modal analysis and mathematical modal analysis. According to the real situation, a simplified model was developed and constrains were loaded. With the aided of computer, a group of experimental nature frequencies and modal shapes were acquired. Meanwhile, a mathematical calculating was carried on by the ANSYS 9.0. Comparing the two groups of results indicates that: the simplified model of the motorcycle structure is reasonable and constrains applied to it are effective.
