Abstract
In this study, characteristics of SrGa2S4:Ce phosphor including cathodoluminescent (CL) and photoluminescence (PL) properties have been studied. The degradation of the phosphors under electron beam bombardment was also investigated. The SrGa2S4:Ce phosphor was synthesized by a high temperature solid phase reaction and the morphologies were shown in Fig. 1. X-ray diffraction (XRD) shows that SrGa2S4:Ce has an orthorhombic structure with a=20.84, b=20.49 and c=12.21.
