Abstract :
In this paper, safe electronic cash for E-Commerce using a Java card is proposed and designed. In an on-off line payment of electronic cash for e-commerce, individual certification information and payment applications must be made available. Also, various kinds of payment methods must have a comprehensive structure to support certification solutions and business models, and include function to quote safe transactions. A Java card that employs a next generation payment structure is the basic architecture for target on-off line combined payment certification solutions. As an important design factor, efficient card structure and appropriate size of application applets and efficient protocols between applications are considered and tested in this research. For communication between the Java card and CAD (card accept device), APDU and proactive commands are used. Java card applications are programmed by Java application applets. For the simulation, off-line payment model with safe transaction was defined. Simulations and tests of the proposed system were achieved using Sun Microsystem´s Java card 2.1.1 toolkit and designed according to X.509V3, PKI-certification, EMV2000 and 3GPP, USART, etc. standards
