Abstract
I have been reviewing the past literature on ball lightning to try to determine why many photographs were not obtained in the past. So far, I have found a remarkable, time resolved, published photo of multiple lightning strikes from 1941. The most remarkable part of the photo is that after the multiple lightning strokes are over, several long-lived plasma balls appeared. I will present other examples of this limited perception in scientific research. The remainder of this paper will present other examples of apparent ball lightning from my personal laboratory experiments.
