  • Abstract
    This paper presents a plant growth status analyzer based on photoelectric technology. The analyzer obtains the status of plant growth by analyzing the variation of chlorophyll content in leaves. The device makes the quantitative description of the chlorophyll content in leaves by comparing the change in intensity of the two light beams at 650 nm and 940 nm respectively. The hardware of the device is designed in modules with independent functions, including data acquisition, data communication, LCD display, temperature detection, real-time display and so on. The analyzer is also equipped with a miniature thermal printer in order to output the data immediately, so that the design is more practical. This design does no damage to the leaves during the whole progress. The device adopts common chips in the market at a relatively low price, so that it can be easy to spread in research or agriculture.
