Abstract
A potential-driven approach to finding a rectilinear Steiner tree for a set of points on a planar grid is proposed. This approach has been implemented on a MasPar parallel processing system, and experimental results show its performance to be comparable with the best experimental results reported in the literature. Moreover, the method can be used for routing in grids with obstacles
