Abstract :
This paper investigates congestion control for Internet. A new congestion control model is established, which includes parameter uncertainties, external disturbances and time-varying state and input delays. And a new adaptive congestion controller is presented based on H∞ control and online parameter estimation, which can compensate for such uncertainties, disturbances and time delays effectively, especially for the large time-varying parameter uncertainties. Simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the controller.
