Abstract
"The Blend Function" is a combination of Sample-and-Hold (SHF) function set and Right Hand Side Triangular Function (RHTF) set. It is a new set of Piece-wise Constant Basis Function (PCBF). Any square integrable function can be approximated in this domain. Here, the blend function set is used to find response of a linear time invariant system described by a linear state equation and the result is compared with block pulse function domain analysis (the most fundamental component of PCBF family).
