Abstract :
The superheated steam system of unit plant´s boiler is a typical long time-delay and time-varying process. We investigate the dynamic characteristics of this process firstly. Several typical control strategies of the superheated steam temperature control system are discussed in this paper, such as the traditional cascade control, self-tuning Smith predictive control, adaptive internal model control (IMC), state feedback-PID control. Some strategies´ implementation in the distributed control system (DCS) are given. The control effect of those methods is approving.
