Research on a New Type of City Intelligent Traffic Lights

This paper discusses the deficiency of city traffic light at present, and puts forward a high efficient traffic light control type. According to the number of current vehicles on the road, it can count out how long all vehicles arrived in this round pass, so that make sure all the vehicle pass by. It is unnecessary to wait for the next traffic round just because this traffic round is out. While urgent vehicles arriving, such as free engine of police wagon, all traffic lights are put to be red in order that they can pass by quickly. Consequently, the type improves the efficiency of traffic.
