Abstract
We reduce the calculation of the maximal H∞ norm of weighted interval plants to compute the H∞ norm of sixteen weighted extreme plants (Kharitonov plants) and the maximal value of eight rational functions in several real intervals. The latter can be also calculated via the classical root locus method
