Abstract
Take advantage of index ellipsoid relevance of light travelling in crystal, the influences of optical axis on electric field strength E and electric displacement vector D when wave propagating in a dual-axis lens were analyzed. Then the relationship of wave vector direction and wave energy propagation direction with the orientation of optical axis of biaxial crystal were deduced. Selecting KTP biaxial crystals, using MATLAB software, the numerical calculation is running on the direction of propagation and the orientation of biaxial crystal. The numerical results is accordance with the experimental results.
