Abstract
We report a long-range and high-spatial-resolution Brillouin optical time-domain analysis based on differential pulse-width pair technique. A 2-cm spatial resolution with a 2°C temperature accuracy is realized over 2-km sensing length by using an optimized 8/8.2 ns transient pulse pair.
