Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to acquaint the audience with the basic concepts of FL and NN, and the combined utilisation of them to solve engineering problems. Specifically, the control of a vehicle engine speed is given as an example of an adaptive fuzzy-neuro system. Other applications of the fuzzy-neuro concepts are also discussed
