Abstract
A new fiber Detonation velocity measuring system is proposed. The fiber is used as the sensor. By using FPGA to process the signals, the measuring precision of this system is enhanced and the system debug is simplified. At the same time, this paper elaborates the system design of the soft hardware and compares the existed instrument measuring Detonation velocity with this system by testing plastic detonating cord. The test demonstrates the advantages of the system such like the resistance electromagnetic interference, the high measuring precision and the simple manipulation.
