Abstract :
In this paper, a new modified epidemic dissemination mechanism for clustered vehicular environments is investigated, in the framework on Next Generation Vehicular Networks. The purpose is to maximize the message delivery ratio in a disruptive communications system using the Store, Carry and Forward mechanism for data distribution, applied to both clustered and independent nodes. The performance of the proposed algorithm is studied through complex simulations, whose results illustrate the desired behavior.
