Abstract :
Thermal lens effects in the LD end-pump fundamental and self-Raman crystal laser have been studied. The experiment of the pump beam waist position affect on the resonator stability was carried out. The results show that the resonator stability was sensitive to the pump beam waist position for the LD end-pump solid-state laser. Thermal focal length formulas for end-pump fundamental and self-Raman crystal laser were given out, in which both far-field half-angle and position of the pump beam waist in the active medium were considered.
