Abstract
Rapid development of automotive science and technology, promoting economic growth rapidly and improving human travel conditions greatly, led to serious ecological imbalance and environmental crisis. Such as oil resource depletion, urban traffic congestion, vehicle emissions, vehicles Garbage and so on. Thus, the current auto industry is becoming increasingly important for sustainable development. Concepts, such as eco-car, eco-car design, green manufacturing and technology, and ecological automobile industry chain, come into being. Ecological car design and manufacture will play a key role in building a sustainable home for human being. Eco-car and ecological vehicles (service) will become the leading product which will be liked by consumer in the future. As the primary design and manufacture methods of information era, CAD (computer aided design) technology will provide a reasonable efficient solution for ecological car design. Therefore, ecological car design based on CAD technology is not only the need for car companies to improve their product competitiveness, but also the need for sustainable development of post-industrial society and human society.
