Abstract
In this paper, an adaptive measuring algorithm is proposed to plan the CMM measuring path for free-form surface. The algorithm is based on 5-th Bézier curve and is implemented the actual measuring by DMIS programming. By comparing the measuring results of Bézier curves with different orders, it is proved the validity, accuracy and efficiency of adaptive measuring 5-th Bézier curve algorithm.
