Abstract
As a new development, the SCDMA wireless access technology shows many attractive futures such as high spectrum efficiency, low cost, low transmitting power, high voice quality, and etc. SCDMA is a smart antenna, synchronous CDMA system which is implemented by the software radio. The related principle and advantages for both synchronous CDMA and smart antenna are discussed in this paper
