  • Abstract
Based on the electric field integral equation (EFIE), we apply the Newton iterative method combined with Tikhonov regulation to reconstruct the complex permittivity of an object. This method is now extended to treat the reconstruction of a perfectly conducting (PEC) object by introducing a saturated threshold. Experimental Ipswich data are used to exemplify the availability of this scheme
