  • Abstract
The performance of water mist fire-resistant is researched by the experiments. The change of temperature, smoke flow, smoke density(such as oxygen, carbon monoxide, nitrogen monoxide)in the test space is obtained. lt that the effect of the various working pressure and water flow rate on the spread of flame and smoke is analyzed. The results show that the spread of smoke can be prevented with water mist and the effect of cool smoke is very obvious. High operating pressure help to put out the fire. After spraying water mist the burn became more incomplete with the increase of oxygen concentration and the decrease of CO2 concentration in the compartment. The conclusion of this paper is helpful to the fire proofing desing of water mist.
